About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Introduces best practices, supports alignment and improvements of FP&A processes.
- Establishes goals and related priorities to mentor, coach and evaluate direct reports.
- Establishes and serves as a business partner with operational leaders to drive additional profitability through analysis and reporting.
- Analyzes profit & loss statements and/or constructs pro forma financials, explaining variances and monitoring actions to ensure delivery of financial commitments.
- Designs and builds presentations, models, and reports to effectively communicate performance with business leaders.
- Develops new analysis and creative solutions to problems.
- Drives standardization and continuous process improvement for standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards.
- Assists manager with ad hoc projects as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics or Data Sciences
- seven (7) years of related experience or an equivalent combination.
- Strong leadership, analytical, quantitative, and investigative skills
- Prior experience leading teams and ability to coach and mentor less experienced personnel.
- Experience with data modeling, analysis, and data visualization tools.
- Advanced experience in PowerPoint and Excel, to include pivot tables and complex formulas.
- Experience working in complex multi-operating system environments is preferred.
- Proven ability for problem solving.
- Ability to identify and communicate solutions to complex business opportunities in a time-critical environment.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
