About the role

  • Serve as primary point of contact for existing FinTech/Wealth‑Tech client relationships
  • Research and cultivate new FinTech client relationships advantageous for Invesco
  • Support Custom Model and SMA product lines in US Retail (potential extension into Insurance and Retirement)
  • Responsible for every facet of client relationships from inception to long-term management
  • Construct business strategy for client partners and negotiate business terms to drive organic growth
  • Coordinate full integration of Invesco products onto partner platforms
  • Build business plans, event strategy, engagement strategy, and provide field sales support
  • Manage data delivery and dissemination to assist field sales with timely opportunities
  • Train Field Sales teams about the FinTech ecosystem and partnership impacts
  • Represent Invesco at industry and client events to promote IVZ products
  • Negotiate business contracts and financial terms to support advisor education and growth

Requirements

  • Specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in financial services with an emphasis on the RIA marketplace
  • Broad knowledge of related job families (i.e. financial sales, strategic accounts)
  • Keen interest in technology platforms that serve the financial services community
  • Current relationships with FinTech firms
  • Leads others to solve complex problems where significant initiative and independent judgement is required
  • Works independently, with guidance in only most complex situations
  • Converts technical FinTech client information to compelling business context and advice
  • Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services
  • Experience negotiating business contracts and financial terms
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Willingness to represent Invesco at industry and client events
  • Must comply with Invesco workplace policy (spend at least four full days each week working in an Invesco office)
