About the role
- Serve as primary point of contact for existing FinTech/Wealth‑Tech client relationships
- Research and cultivate new FinTech client relationships advantageous for Invesco
- Support Custom Model and SMA product lines in US Retail (potential extension into Insurance and Retirement)
- Responsible for every facet of client relationships from inception to long-term management
- Construct business strategy for client partners and negotiate business terms to drive organic growth
- Coordinate full integration of Invesco products onto partner platforms
- Build business plans, event strategy, engagement strategy, and provide field sales support
- Manage data delivery and dissemination to assist field sales with timely opportunities
- Train Field Sales teams about the FinTech ecosystem and partnership impacts
- Represent Invesco at industry and client events to promote IVZ products
- Negotiate business contracts and financial terms to support advisor education and growth
Requirements
- Specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in financial services with an emphasis on the RIA marketplace
- Broad knowledge of related job families (i.e. financial sales, strategic accounts)
- Keen interest in technology platforms that serve the financial services community
- Current relationships with FinTech firms
- Leads others to solve complex problems where significant initiative and independent judgement is required
- Works independently, with guidance in only most complex situations
- Converts technical FinTech client information to compelling business context and advice
- Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services
- Experience negotiating business contracts and financial terms
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Willingness to represent Invesco at industry and client events
- Must comply with Invesco workplace policy (spend at least four full days each week working in an Invesco office)
