About the role
- Ensure all customer service centre operations such as phone enquires, emails, quotes, sales orders, web orders are processed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Procure any customers requirements daily as necessary in line with our company procedure, ensuring all costs are recovered (e.g. freight).
- Respond to and manage (if appropriate) any customer inquiries or complaints or refer them through the appropriate channels and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Submit and follow up on quotations.
- Liaise with Manager to stop credit issues.
- Action any RTS goods and documentation as required.
- Adhere to all relevant company policies and procedures as described in the P&P manual.
- Report to manager on the performance of the OHSMS; on opportunities for improvement; on change requirements; on innovations.
- Ensure the integrity of the OHSMS is maintained.
Requirements
- 1-2 years’ experience in customer service
- Ability to identify and capture new business opportunities with existing customers.
- Natural problem-solving skills, a curious mind, comfortable working with blue collar, construction & industrial stakeholders.
- Team player attitude.
