About the role

  • Ensure all customer service centre operations such as phone enquires, emails, quotes, sales orders, web orders are processed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Procure any customers requirements daily as necessary in line with our company procedure, ensuring all costs are recovered (e.g. freight).
  • Respond to and manage (if appropriate) any customer inquiries or complaints or refer them through the appropriate channels and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Submit and follow up on quotations.
  • Liaise with Manager to stop credit issues.
  • Action any RTS goods and documentation as required.
  • Adhere to all relevant company policies and procedures as described in the P&P manual.
  • Report to manager on the performance of the OHSMS; on opportunities for improvement; on change requirements; on innovations.
  • Ensure the integrity of the OHSMS is maintained.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years’ experience in customer service
  • Ability to identify and capture new business opportunities with existing customers.
  • Natural problem-solving skills, a curious mind, comfortable working with blue collar, construction & industrial stakeholders.
  • Team player attitude.
