About the role
- Developing new business in the area
- Managing accounts and seeking new business opportunities
- Ensuring the established customer base are receiving exceptional service and growing those relationships
- Working with the Branch Manager on building new business in the area
- Developing and maintaining a structured call cycle across the territory
- Seeking ways to improve our offer and add value to our customers' business
- Working with our vendors to increase knowledge and gain market share
- Helping develop and support the service offering within the branch to ensure our customers’ expectations are exceeded
- Contributing to a culture of safety by putting safety first, ensuring that we all make it safe & make it home.
Requirements
- Experience in sales and/or account management
- Strong customer service focus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to understand and discuss and relay technical information
- Good time management
- High work ethic and a determination to deliver team success
- A desire to learn and ensure you are always up to date with the latest product information
