About the role

  • Work with the team during development sprints to specify test scenarios and execute manual tests on applications (web/desktop/mobile apps);
  • Collaborate with the team to meet prerequisites for test execution;
  • Assist in training other team members on the processes and technologies used;
  • Propose process improvements to the team that enhance delivery outcomes;
  • Introduce tools, processes, and methodologies that improve efficiency;
  • Develop, maintain, and evolve applications/frameworks for test automation;
  • Develop and support applications for integrating automation frameworks with project and test management systems;
  • Actively participate in the management and construction of Quality Gates and automated test frameworks in CI pipelines.

Requirements

  • Experience improving software quality processes;
  • Professional experience with TypeScript and test automation using technologies such as Cypress or Playwright;
  • Proficiency in Supertest, RestAssured, or Postman/Newman;
  • Strong experience with Appium or, preferably, Detox;
  • Experience integrating automated tests into pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI);
  • Experience in manual testing and test automation for front-end, back-end, and mobile software;
  • Experience with software quality practices and project management tools;
  • Familiarity with databases;
  • Experience with Cucumber and BDD-style test scenarios;
  • Knowledge of the software test lifecycle;
  • Experience across test processes — planning, test design/modeling, execution, and reporting;
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
