About the role
- Work with the team during development sprints to specify test scenarios and execute manual tests on applications (web/desktop/mobile apps);
- Work with the team to meet prerequisites for test execution;
- Assist in training other team members on processes and technologies used;
- Propose process improvements to the team that enhance delivered outcomes;
- Introduce tools, processes, and methodologies to make work more efficient;
- Contribute to the development, maintenance, and evolution of test automation applications/frameworks;
- Develop and support applications that integrate automation frameworks with project and test management systems;
- Actively participate in the management and construction of Quality Gates and automated test structures within CI pipelines.
Requirements
- Experience in improving software quality processes;
- Professional experience in test automation using technologies such as Cypress, Playwright, Robot Framework;
- Experience in manual testing and test automation for front-end, back-end, and mobile software;
- Experience testing and automating tests for microservices;
- Knowledge of Docker;
- Experience with software quality routines;
- Familiarity with project management tools;
- Basic knowledge of databases;
- Experience with Cucumber and writing test scenarios in BDD format;
- Knowledge of the software testing lifecycle;
- Experience in the testing process — planning, modeling, executing tests, and reporting;
- Experience with agile development methodologies;
- Knowledge of defect management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.);
- Previous experience with direct client interaction.
