About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate logistics for public sector events, conferences, roundtables, executive dinners, and hosted programs—including venue, catering, materials, and on-site setup.
- Schedule and manage meetings between the Public Sector sales team and prospects, customers, and partners tied to events and standalone outreach programs.
- Build and maintain calendars, scheduling trackers, and logistics timelines to keep the Public Sector team organized and on schedule.
- Track meeting status, attendee confirmations, and follow-up actions before, during, and after events.
- Coordinate directly with Public Sector sellers, MDRs, and account executives to align on meeting priorities, schedules, and logistics needs.
- Help ensure clean handoffs after events—capturing meeting outcomes, next steps, and follow-up assignments in Salesforce or equivalent tools.
- Support pre-event and post-event outreach coordination in partnership with the Public Sector and MDR teams.
- Assist with post-event reporting, including attendance, meetings held, follow-up completion, and basic pipeline contribution data.
- Contribute to ongoing field marketing initiatives as business needs evolve.
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive executive-level presentation summarizing your project findings, strategic recommendations, and key learnings at the close of the internship.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with sales and marketing teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in dynamic, event-driven situations.
- Proactive, resourceful, and execution-oriented mindset.
- Interest in B2B marketing, event marketing, account-based marketing, or sales-aligned pipeline generation.
- Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Apollo, Outreach, Salesloft, or similar platforms is a plus, but not required.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for onsite event support, if needed.
