Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide technical and commercial support to customers and sales colleagues.
  • Analyze and qualify customer requirements and identify the most appropriate Socomec solutions.
  • Advise customers on both standard and customized technical solutions.
  • Promote Socomec products, solutions and value-added services.
  • Defend and present technical solutions to customers through technical discussions, feasibility studies and presentations.
  • Manage customer opportunities from initial qualification through offer submission and handover.
  • Build and manage technical and commercial proposals in line with customer requirements and company policies.
  • Identify new opportunities within existing customer accounts.
  • Support pricing strategies and commercial negotiations.
  • Maintain and update business opportunities within Salesforce CRM.
  • Contribute to achieving sales growth and conversion targets.
  • Work closely with sales, product management, technical experts and other internal stakeholders.
  • Lead or support cross-functional improvement initiatives and projects.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation activities.
  • Ensure high-quality customer follow-up and proactive communication.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrotechnics or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a technical sales support, application engineering, field service or similar customer-facing role.
  • Experience in electrical power distribution, switching, monitoring or energy management solutions is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
  • Fluent Dutch (Flemish)
  • Fluent French
  • Good working knowledge of English
