About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and optimize end-to-end supply chain, manufacturing, and supplier quality operations
Serve as the end-to-end operational leader for BESS NAM
Lead the scaling of BESS NAM operations to meet and exceed business plan objectives
Drive cost competitiveness and margin improvement initiatives
Foster strong cross-functional collaboration across R&D, Marketing, and global BESS headquarters teams
Lead and develop the Supply Chain team
Own the end-to-end supply chain strategy
Oversee and optimize subcontractor performance
Strengthen partnerships with global and regional operations teams
Drive supplier strategy
Lead the industrialization of systems
Enhance ERP systems and digital tools
Design, implement, and improve a robust quality management framework
Lead supplier quality audits and ensure adherence to defined quality standards
Establish and monitor quality KPIs
Develop proactive, preventive quality strategies
Lead root cause analysis for system-level issues
Ensure full compliance with North American regulatory and certification standards.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master's Degree in Engineering
Must have at least 5 years of experience in renewable energy industry for C&I and / or Utilities
Must have at least 5 years of experience in a similar leadership position
Experience with - Contract manufacturing / EMS - Global sourcing (Asia exposure strongly valuable) - Scaling operations and Leading a team in a startup phase
Start-up / scale-up experience
Experience in North American regulatory environment
Digital supply chain / data-driven operations
Engaged, Problem solver, Ownership / Responsible with a strong entrepreneurial and pioneering spirit.
Hands-On Position and business-oriented due to the nature of the company (Start-up spirit)
Comfortable operating across multiple time zones and global teams.
