About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • You develop and expand sales of the entire SOCOMEC switchgear and measuring devices product range within your sales territory
  • You advise and support existing customers and actively acquire new customers
  • You identify cross-selling opportunities and work closely with specialized sales teams
  • You build long-term customer relationships and position SOCOMEC as a trusted partner
  • Independently manage your sales territory
  • Analyze customer needs and develop appropriate solutions
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations
  • Plan and conduct customer meetings
  • Forecast and implement measures to achieve targets (revenue, margin)
  • Develop key accounts and ensure high customer retention
  • Work closely with Sales Support, Customer Service and Back Office
  • Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to overall team success

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Several years of experience in technical sales, ideally in switchgear or measurement technology
  • Strong technical and commercial knowledge
  • Proven sales and closing capabilities
  • High self-motivation, organizational skills and a clear focus on goals
  • Analytical thinking and an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Strong communication skills and a pronounced customer focus
  • Willingness to travel within South‑West Germany (approx. 2 overnight stays per week)
