About the role
- Identify upcoming projects in the market
- Reach and influence decision makers involved in those projects in order to specify the technical features of our products
- Follow-up on the project in its different stages (specification, pricing & budget, order, supply chain, etc).
- Fill in specification sheets
- Provide technical support and training during prescription seminars and fairs
- Create and/or update a regional map of stakeholders in the area (consultants, contractors, end users, distributors, etc) and their market focus (industry, IT, etc)
- Work as a hunter, to generate and follow-up on leads, to boost the project pipeline and create interest
- Be involved and supportive on the pre-sales phases (Compliance, tech comparison, BOQ creation, counter objections, etc.)
- Support product launch
- Participate in marketing actions
- Assist with market data pricing analysis
- Platforming of accounts and account management planning
- Identify spec-in action plans, target and flag corresponding accounts in SalesForce
- Link opportunities to the selected action plans and the corresponding data
- Update and follow KPI’s for specification effort
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering
- Minimum of 2 years professional experience in specifying in the electrical engineering industry
- Good understanding of LV distribution & applications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
