About the role

  • Identify upcoming projects in the market
  • Reach and influence decision makers involved in those projects in order to specify the technical features of our products
  • Follow-up on the project in its different stages (specification, pricing & budget, order, supply chain, etc).
  • Fill in specification sheets
  • Provide technical support and training during prescription seminars and fairs
  • Create and/or update a regional map of stakeholders in the area (consultants, contractors, end users, distributors, etc) and their market focus (industry, IT, etc)
  • Work as a hunter, to generate and follow-up on leads, to boost the project pipeline and create interest
  • Be involved and supportive on the pre-sales phases (Compliance, tech comparison, BOQ creation, counter objections, etc.)
  • Support product launch
  • Participate in marketing actions
  • Assist with market data pricing analysis
  • Platforming of accounts and account management planning
  • Identify spec-in action plans, target and flag corresponding accounts in SalesForce
  • Link opportunities to the selected action plans and the corresponding data
  • Update and follow KPI’s for specification effort

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering
  • Minimum of 2 years professional experience in specifying in the electrical engineering industry
  • Good understanding of LV distribution & applications
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
