About the role
- Reporting to our Head of Vendor Management, you will also collaborate closely with Project Management, and Sales teams to translate business needs into actionable sourcing briefs (roles, skills, turnaround time, budget constraints) and high-volume freelance sourcing strategies.
- Use multiple channels to proactively build and nurture agile talent pools for roles in writing, editing, translation, SEO, and more.
- Reach out, screen, and qualify freelancers for specialization, responsiveness, past performance, availability, and cost alignment. You will ensure a strong balance between quality, reliability, and cost to support sales commitments.
- Lead robust rate negotiations, ensuring we're securing top talent while managing costs and margins.
- Facilitate fast onboarding and compliance so we can activate freelancers quickly and compliantly across global markets.
- Keep our pipelines and databases updated, organized, and ready to meet fast-arising business demands—tracking performance, responsiveness, and costs to constantly improve decisions.
- Maintain regular reports for sourcing stats, open roles, pipeline health, and support commercial teams with transparency around feasibility and risks.
- Operate independently, taking ownership of your workload, identifying process improvements, and driving efficient yet effective sourcing.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years' experience in talent sourcing/recruitment (with heavy sourcing or freelance/vendor focus).
- Exceptionally strong negotiation skills and a proven track record of cost-efficient sourcing.
- Outstanding communication and organization skills.
- Ability to manage yourself independently and work with minimal supervision.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, international, high-volume environment.
- Comfortable with ambiguity.
- Strong ability to balance operational needs with supplier satisfaction and client expectations.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft E365, project management, or collaborative tools.
- Data management skills are highly desirable.
- High proficiency to native level in English is a must. Other languages are a plus.
