Director of Engagement – Marketing & Comms Strategy
Social DriverDirector of Engagement at Social Driver leading marketing and communications strategies for clients across multiple channels. Responsible for managing client relationships and delivering successful campaigns.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary strategic point of contact for a portfolio of clients across marketing and communications disciplines
- Develop deep knowledge of each client’s business, audience, and goals, and translate that knowledge into smart, actionable strategies
- Lead client meetings, presentations, and reviews with confidence and clarity
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships that result in high client retention and satisfaction
- Anticipate client needs and proactively bring forward ideas, opportunities, and solutions
- Direct integrated marketing and communications strategies across paid media, organic social, email, content/SEO, and influencer/partnerships
- Translate client objectives into well-structured campaign frameworks, editorial strategies, and channel plans
- Review and provide strategic direction on creative and content deliverables across client accounts
- Partner with project management and internal teams to maintain timelines, quality, and delivery standards across accounts
Requirements
What you’ll need- Agency experience
- Experience managing multiple clients, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously
- Strong command of integrated marketing strategy including paid media, organic social, email, content, SEO, and influencer marketing
- Natural relationship builder
- Strong foundation in communications strategy including messaging, narrative development, and audience segmentation
- Project architecture skills
- 7+ years of relevant experience, with at least 4 years in a client-facing role at an agency or agency-like environment
- Occasional, as-needed travel may be required to support key initiatives and client engagements
