About the role
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily warehouse operations.
- Monitor inbound and outbound goods flows rigorously, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness.
- Supervise and coach warehouse staff, ensuring continuous training and skills development.
- Organize work schedules and ensure the team's operational efficiency.
- Manage documentation related to shipments, receipts, and inventories.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes and propose innovative solutions to increase operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Significant experience in logistics, preferably in refrigerated transport.
- Minimum education level: Bac+2 (equivalent to a two-year post-secondary diploma or associate degree).
- Proven ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive and able to propose improvements.
- Knowledge of fruit and vegetable transport would be an asset.
