About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as the primary customer contact for sales demand creation by executing marketing strategy and promoting Sobi products
  • Provide current and comprehensive clinical knowledge of Sobi products and communicate on-label clinical benefits
  • Execute Plan of Action marketing strategies and deliver branded sales messages
  • Represent Sobi at local meetings
  • Achieve or exceed territory sales targets
  • Represent Sobi products and services to a defined customer base and generate and grow sales within the assigned geographic area
  • Promote appropriate use of Sobi products to healthcare professionals in accordance with Corporate, PhRMA, and OIG guidelines
  • Develop and implement a territory business plan
  • Analyze territory sales data weekly to prioritize physician targeting and ensure accurate physician reporting
  • Prepare territory budget plans for customer contacts, local symposia, and other external expenditures
  • Identify and resolve issues and opportunities and communicate proactively to sales and marketing management
  • Report adverse events to Sobi’s Drug Safety department as required
  • Perform administrative functions, including reporting call activity and customer information, submitting expenses, and maintaining timely records
  • Travel within the assigned territory, including overnight travel

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Located within the territory
  • BA/BS in business or science
  • Minimum of 5 years’ dedicated hospital selling experience in the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry
  • Minimum of 3 years’ specialty sales experience in the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry
  • Minimum of 3 years’ biologics sales experience utilizing a specialty pharmacy, or 8 years’ dedicated hospital selling experience
  • Experience with a transition of care/patient journey process from the hospital to the outpatient setting
  • Demonstrated history of high sales performance
  • Experience with single source pharmacies, reimbursement programs, managed care, and formulary
  • Strong work ethic and ability to develop priorities and manage time appropriately in a large assigned geography
  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory, including overnights, potentially 40–50%
  • Must be based in or located near the given geographic territory; relocation will not be provided
  • Compliance with regulatory agencies and state and federal law
