About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers
  • Work hands-on with prospects and customers throughout the sales cycle, from demo to proof of concept to design and implementation
  • Demonstrate and communicate the value of Snowflake technology
  • Immerse yourself in the evolving industry and maintain a deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors
  • Position Snowflake in relation to competitive and complementary technologies
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Snowflake products and marketing
  • Understand customer needs and strategize on winning sales cycles
  • Support enterprise Proofs of Concept and close business
  • Keep customer information secure and confidential and follow company confidentiality and security standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7–8 years of industry experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a pre-sales environment
  • Outstanding presenting skills for technical and executive audiences, including impromptu whiteboarding, presentations, and demos
  • Broad experience with large-scale database and/or data warehouse technology, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies
  • Experience with Data Lake, Data Mesh, or Data Fabric technologies
  • Hands-on expertise with SQL, SQL analytics, and Python
  • Ability to connect customers’ specific business problems with Snowflake solutions
  • Ability to deeply discover customers’ architecture frameworks and connect them with Snowflake Data Architecture
  • University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields, or equivalent experience preferred
  • Experience with GSIs such as EY, Deloitte, or Accenture beneficial but not required
  • Approximately 30% travel
  • Ability to follow confidentiality and security standards for handling sensitive data
  • Ability to keep customer information secure and confidential
