Partner directly with Tax leadership to re-engineer core tax processes into automated, AI-first workflows
Design and deploy agentic tools that reduce manual data gathering
Build a unified data and knowledge layer that serves as a single source of truth for all tax-relevant information
Own semantic layers end-to-end — model design, versioning strategy, verified query coverage, and accuracy iteration
Automate tax filings, data reconciliation, and audit-ready reporting
Push back on shortcuts that create maintenance debt and improve shared infrastructure

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience in analytics, data engineering, or a technical finance adjacent role
Must have used an AI coding assistant as a primary development tool with daily usage
Proficient in SQL and can write complex queries without looking up syntax
Experience in shipping multiple Python applications that are actively maintained
Comfortable working in Git (PRs, branches, code review)
Familiar with fiscal year concepts and core revenue metrics (ARR, bookings, NRR)
