About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop your understanding of finance and accounting through rotations across finance and accounting
- Assist in forecasting models and deliver high-quality presentations for senior executives and investors
- Provide detailed reporting and drive strategic initiatives
- Support financial review packages and month/quarter-end close process
- Analyze financial performance related to headcount, expenses, and CAPEX
- Work across functions such as Sales, HR, and Finance to improve visibility into expenses
- Drive competitive analysis and assist with strategic initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- BA/BS/MS in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or related quantitative field
- 0-1 years of Finance or Accounting experience/internships in either a start-up environment or IB/Equity Research
- Experience using Excel and Powerpoint
- Understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
- Knowledge of GAAP
- Experience in using Tableau or similar - desired
- Recognized professional qualification(s) CA/CPA/CIA is a plus
- Experience with Adaptive Insights is a plus
- Experience with cloud-based or software as a service (SAAS) companies is a plus.
- Salesforce, Vertex, Stripe, lockbox and Workday Financials ERP experience is a plus
- Thorough understanding and adherence to applicable SOX controls is a plus
