About the role
- Serve as a key member of the Education team to drive Snowflake’s training initiatives in the market
- Meet or exceed bookings and revenue targets
- Develop long term relationships and training plans for key accounts
- Interact with prospects, partners, and internal team members to build a sales pipeline
- Work in conjunction with professional services for the creation of a statement of work for custom engagements
- Work with the Sr. Director of Education Services around contract negotiations
- Work with Salesforce to generate forecast reports and track pipeline
- Proactively reach out to customers with paid training and work closely with Education operations related to scheduling of sold courses
Requirements
- BA/BS degree and 5 years of experience in Education Sales
- Exceptional communication skills while multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter that can prioritize and complete work on concurrent projects and tasks
- Adept at project management and cross-functional collaboration
- Knowledge of Salesforce
- Proven verbal and written communications skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
- Relevant technical knowledge is helpful, such as database systems and fundamentals of cloud computing and virtualization with the ability to go deep enough on relevant technologies key to the industry
