About the role
- Edit high-performing longform, YouTube-first content across established channels
- Shape stories with strong pacing, hooks, and creative polish optimized for retention and watch time
- Collaborate with internal marketing teams, producers, strategists, and creatives on various types of longform formats
- Maintain organized, scalable workflows to ensure fast, reliable delivery at volume
- Continuously refine creative based on performance data and audience insights
Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional editing experience (YouTube experience strongly preferred)
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Frame.io (After Effects is a plus)
- Deep understanding of YouTube pacing, retention strategy, and storytelling conventions
- Experience editing across multiple content types (educational, brand, campaign, product)
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working in fast-moving production cycles
- A collaborative mindset and passion for making complex topics accessible and engaging
