About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the identity provider and implement and automate SSO, MFA enforcement, and SCIM provisioning across SaaS tools
Enforce zero-trust principles
Own the full hardware and MDM lifecycle, automating device provisioning, configuration, and secure deployment with Jamf and Intune
Build zero-touch onboarding workflows
Design, deploy, and maintain high-availability office networking and secure remote access solutions for a hybrid workforce
Architect and build custom integrations between Okta, Greenhouse, Notion, and CRM systems
Own the internal automation layer using Python and no-code tools, replacing low-code solutions with code for mission-critical paths
Build and maintain internal dashboards and Slack apps for self-service IT, HR, and facilities requests
Build API wrappers and prompt-engineering pipelines connecting Claude or OpenAI to Slack and Notion
Experiment with AI models to identify company productivity gains
Write Python, Bash, and PowerShell scripts for security monitoring, endpoint patch management, and compliance reporting
Integrate EDR/SIEM webhooks into Slack and surface actionable security anomalies
Create automated audit trails, access reviews, and reporting for SOC2/ISO compliance

Requirements

What you’ll need

4+ years in IT Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Platform roles with a heavy emphasis on automation and APIs
Advanced Python or JavaScript/Node.js; familiarity with either is sufficient
Git, CI/CD, testing, and documentation
Proven experience building custom integrations using REST/GraphQL APIs
Knowledge of OAuth2 and JSON parsing
Hands-on experience with Okta or Azure AD, including SCIM, Workflows, and automation
Experience with at least one MDM solution: Jamf or Intune
Understanding of least privilege and automated patching
Experience with identity and workflow automation, endpoint management, security operations, networking, TCP/IP, VLANs, Wi-Fi, and VPN/ZTNA
Direct experience with Okta, People Tech (Rippling and Greenhouse), Notion, or Slack APIs is a differentiator
Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI) for internal tools is a differentiator
Familiarity with Terraform is a differentiator
Experience preparing IT systems for SOC2 or ISO 27001 audits is a differentiator
Experience with Google Workspace administration and GAM is a differentiator
Experience with zero-touch deployment workflows, Apple Business Manager, or Windows Autopilot is a differentiator
