Key responsibilities & impact

Lead architectural design phases from concept through completion, ensuring all work adheres to client specifications and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, construction managers, and clients to facilitate seamless, well-coordinated project execution
Develop and present design proposals, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to stakeholders with clarity and confidence
Manage and mentor a team of architects and draftspersons, promoting a culture of innovation, accountability, and design excellence
Oversee the preparation of construction documents and ensure full adherence to industry standards, best practices, and applicable codes
Maintain project schedules and budgets across all design and construction phases, proactively identifying and resolving issues
Build and sustain strong client relationships, ensuring high satisfaction at every stage of project delivery

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
8-15 years of experience leading commercial and hospitality architecture projects
Experience mentoring architects and drafters
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp
Professional registration preferred
Experience across all design and construction phases, including coordination of consultant engineering disciplines such as civil, structural, and MEP
Experience preparing construction documentation for architectural projects
Thorough understanding of building codes, regulations, and compliance processes, including QA/QC and permitting workflows
Strong organizational and time management skills, with experience managing project schedules, budgets, and project teams across multiple projects simultaneously
Experience managing client relationships and presenting design proposals and feasibility studies to clients and project stakeholders
Experience resolving coordination issues and clashes with consultants during design and construction documentation is a plus
