About the role
- Greet customers as they enter the store and build relationships to understand specific needs
- Create a welcoming atmosphere for customers
- Educate customers on cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods
- Answer customer inquiries accurately
- Participate in merchandising and promotional activities
- Work collaboratively with Store Managers and team members to exceed sales goals
- Maintain up-to-date product and service knowledge
- Participate in routine store maintenance
- Complete customer transactions using the POS system
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking products
Requirements
- Minimum: 2 years of customer service experience
- Minimum: 2 years of retail and/or hospitality experience is preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Mandatory Certifications by Province: BC: Selling It Right Certification. AB: SellSafe Certification. SK: CRTP Certification. MB: CRWTP Certification. ON: CannSell Certification.
- Working knowledge of cannabis regulations in the applicable province is preferred.
- Must complete and pass a Criminal Record Check
