About the role

  • Design, implement, and support enterprise IT infrastructure systems
  • Architect, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot routing, switching, and wireless networks
  • Administer next-generation firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco, Barracuda), including high availability, VPNs, and security policy management
  • Design and maintain virtualization platforms (VMware, Nutanix, Hyper-V)
  • Oversee storage systems, replication, and backup strategies to ensure data integrity and availability
  • Lead network and infrastructure projects from planning through implementation
  • Evaluate, recommend, and deploy new technologies to improve performance, resilience, and operational efficiency
  • Collaborate closely with Systems and Cybersecurity teams to maintain a secure and reliable environment
  • Respond to escalated support requests and complex infrastructure issues
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to support critical systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and minimum 3 years network administration experience or 5 years' experience alone
  • Routing & switching
  • Firewalls (palo Alto, Cisco, Barracuda)
  • Virtualization (VMware, Nutanix, Hyper-V)
  • Certifications (CCNA, PCNSA, etc.) preferred but not required.
