Key responsibilities & impact

Create and refine high-performance mobile apps
Build stable, smoothly running products
Design, architect, and implement well-tested Objective-C software powering Snapchat camera experiences
Conceptualize, develop, and launch new features

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical field such as computer science or equivalent years of practical work experience
6+ years of post-Bachelor’s software development experience, or Master’s degree plus 5+ years of post-graduate software development experience, or PhD plus 2+ years of post-graduate software development experience
Experience with iOS application development
Proven understanding of the Objective-C Runtime and processes running under the hood
Knowledge of OS internals, compilers, and optimization for low-power and mobile systems
Proficiency with multithreading and performance optimization techniques for iOS
Strong computer science fundamentals in algorithms and data structures
Knowledge of software design patterns and iOS best practices
Proficiency in, or strong aptitude for, leveraging AI tools and auditing generated output for architecture, performance, and security
Adaptability in learning and applying evolving AI systems and tools
Preferred: Experience with Objective-C and iOS
Preferred: Experience with Swift
Preferred: Experience with C/C++
