About the role

  • Play a central role in building, maintaining and optimising the infrastructure that underpins our **Snowflake** and Azure ecosystem.
  • Work closely with our platform team and data engineering teams to ensure seamless operations and a consistent, scalable environment.
  • Implementing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform Enterprise
  • Automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration to drive consistency and scalability
  • Managing code repositories and implementing CI/CD pipelines
  • Automating deployment processes to ensure quality, security and repeatability
  • Using Ansible for configuration management and system automation**
  • Managing containerised services within Azure
  • Administering Snowflake within the Azure platform
  • Embedding DevOps best practices across security, compliance and cost management
  • Collaborating with the wider team to continually improve DevOps workflows and operational excellence
  • Delivering stable, fully automated IaC deployments using Terraform Enterprise
  • Establishing or optimising CI/CD pipelines that enhance delivery speed and quality
  • Improving reliability and governance across our Snowflake and Azure estate
  • Driving measurable improvements in deployment automation, system configuration and platform scalability

Requirements

  • Proven 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role, including expertise with **Terraform, Git **and **Azure DevOps**
  • Experience working with **Snowflake**
  • Strong understanding of **CI/CD** concepts and tools (e.g., Jenkins)
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as **Python **or Bash
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills
  • Azure certifications (nice to have but not required)
  • Exposure to data modelling concepts
  • Experience with SAP source systems (ECC, S/4HANA) as part of an Azure Estate
  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI
  • Experience with SAP BI tools e.g. BODS, Business Objects - Webi
  • Exposure to DBT and Theobold.
