About the role
- Independently perform engineering tasks in support of Senior and Principal cybersecurity engineers
- Evaluate data from cybersecurity defense tools to mitigate risks
- Investigate and respond to network cybersecurity incidents
- Test, implement, and maintain cybersecurity infrastructure hardware and software
- Assess systems and networks for vulnerabilities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Information Technology or closely related field (or equivalent experience)
- Three or more (3+) years of progressively relevant professional or technical experience in cybersecurity and/or information security
- One or more (1+) professional certification in Cybersecurity or Information Security (e.g., CompTIA Security+, GSEC, CEH)
- Knowledge of practices of system security engineering and security administration
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices
