About the role
- Develop electrical engineering projects within your area of expertise, with or without involvement from headquarters, including assembly drawings, layouts and technical documentation;
- Review electrical designs, electrical installation projects, datasheets and technical specifications;
- Prepare technical reports based on information collected in the field;
- Draft technical specifications for electrical equipment, such as electrical panels, instruments and services, for the purchasing department;
- Monitor manufacturing and assembly processes of projects developed by internal engineering or third parties at factories;
- Prepare operation and maintenance manuals for equipment;
- Participate in the commissioning of electrical equipment, including field activities;
- Develop technical solutions involving low-voltage drives;
- Perform commissioning of low-voltage drives;
- Attend technical meetings with suppliers to clarify questions during manufacturing activities;
- Participate in meetings with clients to gather information and align technical aspects of projects;
- Provide support to sales teams in the development of basic designs and technical proposals;
- Develop technical activities in collaboration with other SMS group units worldwide.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering;
- Experience in industrial electrical design/projects;
- Proficiency in AutoCAD;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
- Fluent English;
- Willingness to travel;
- Interest in technology, industrial projects and engineering technical solutions;
- Experience in commissioning steel plants;
- Field/construction site experience.
