About the role

  • Identify new business opportunities within key accounts to grow market share and support project bid activities
  • Manage pre- and post-order execution, focusing on key account management
  • Oversee sales activities and expenses within budget and ensure agreements follow approval processes
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and engineering to deliver optimal solutions and secure contracts within pricing and margin standards
  • Manage key accounts, address service issues, and handle all sales reporting including forecasts, actual results, and variance analysis
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities and provide insights to Director of Sales and Marketing
  • Upsell and expand revenue with existing clients and report monthly on territory and market conditions
  • Travel overnight approximately 20%-25% of the time

Requirements

  • College degree preferred in an engineering field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum three years sales experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with rotating equipment is required
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience of achieving year over year sales growth
  • Self-Starter and highly motivated to achieve results with minimal direct supervision
  • Ability to develop presentations for customers, potential customers, and present in a professional manner
  • Computer literate with good working knowledge of MS Office suite and ERP systems
  • Available to travel overnight 20%-25% of the time
  • Experience working with a diverse group in a global company is a plus
  • Candidates residing in Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Vermont will be considered
