About the role
- Partner with technical and business leaders to design key metrics, dashboards, and AI-enabled data products that are widely-adopted and influence cross-functional strategic direction and multi-year roadmaps
- Establish hypothesis-driven decision-making as the default operating mode across partner teams through statistically rigorous experimentation
- Tackle undefined, open-ended problems by defining both the 'what' and 'how' and conducting rigorous analyses that drive meaningful product and business impact
- Transform complex findings into compelling narratives that provide strategic clarity and influence broader organizational direction
- Collaborate closely with Data Engineers to influence the design, development, and maintenance of dimensional data models, ensuring data is complete, accurate, and reliably delivered
- Champion world-class data governance practices, continuously raising the bar for data & code quality across technical teams
- Partner with stakeholders to align roadmaps with business priorities, anticipating emerging needs before they are formally requested and driving positive outcomes in high-stakes contexts
- Operate as a force multiplier whose influence fosters growth across partner teams, providing incisive technical mentorship, inspiring intellectual curiosity, and driving clarity amidst ambiguity
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g. mathematics, statistics)
- Master’s or Ph.D. degree is preferred
- 12+ years of hands-on experience influencing product and business decision-making through experimentation and advanced analytics
- Healthcare and/or pharmacy experience is preferred
- Advanced technical proficiency, including deep experience:
- Leveraging SQL & dbt to query, transform, and validate complex data sets
- Leveraging scripting languages (e.g. Python) and statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R) for advanced statistical modeling
- Collaborating with Data & Analytics Engineers to architect robust data models and institute world-class data quality guardrails
- Establishing and scaling causal learning frameworks, including designing and executing experiments with statistically significant findings
- Designing, presenting, and influencing people with data visualizations that deliver impactful and actionable insights
- A self-starter mentality, proactively identifying novel ways to drive impact, devising creative solutions to complex challenges, and independently delivering on commitments
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, seamlessly adapting between business and technical audiences
- Proven leadership prowess, including the ability to drive clarity by articulating a compelling vision and bring people along with you
