About the role

- Oversee channel development and product standardization to optimize profitability

- Deliver impactful sales presentations and conduct customer business reviews
- Manage employee development and broker evaluations
- Maintain superior account management and adjust strategies based on market dynamics to drive growth
- Expand market penetration and grow existing accounts within assigned channels
- Ensure fiscal responsibility by adhering to assigned budgets and collaborating on annual and multi-year sales plans
- Deliver reports on business status, sales activity, forecasts, and pricing analysis
- Establish long-term relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Achieve growth while meeting profitability goals and overseeing cross-functional projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
- 10+ years’ relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience in team management/development
- Strong understanding of the dynamics of the Consumer Packaged Goods industry
- Demonstrated experience in sales planning, forecasting, execution, and fact-based selling using tools like IRI, Nielsen, and Perishable Group
- Proficiency in Apple software, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and SAP
- Proven ability to grow accounts, achieve sales volume and margin growth, and act with urgency and self-direction
- Possession of a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 75%
