About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Leading business development efforts across Europe for Smithers MDT services
- Targeting and winning new clients in the medical device, pharmaceutical, and life sciences sectors
- Building and executing strategic account plans to secure long-term partnerships and maximise share of spend
- Developing a high-value, data-driven sales pipeline using our CRM and forecasting tools
- Supporting marketing campaigns and representing Smithers at industry events and client meetings
- Acting as the commercial face of Smithers MDT – both externally with clients and internally across our global teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years’ experience in technical B2B sales, business development, or consulting
- A proven track record of winning and growing business in life sciences, medical device or pharma sectors
- Experience with outsourced services, testing, or regulatory consultancy is a strong advantage
- Strong commercial instincts, excellent communication skills, and a natural ability to build trust with stakeholders
- Comfortable with regular international travel , both independently and as part of a global team
- A bachelor's degree in a science or engineering discipline (Master’s or MBA preferred)
