Sales Representative – Sports Medicine
Smith+NephewSales Representative providing expert consultation for high-quality medical products in sports medicine. Responsible for achieving sales targets and supporting physicians during surgical procedures.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsibility for achieving sales targets in the territory
- Accompanying surgeries with the aim of ensuring correct use of our products through guidance
- Establishing and expanding networks, including managing the relevant interfaces with our customers
- Convincing product demonstrations: professional technical advice on products and equipment
- Continuous territory analysis with respect to customer requirements, purchase-decision criteria and local market changes, taking budget planning into account
- Close cooperation with team colleagues, Customer Care and Marketing
- Thorough market and competitor monitoring
- Regional and international support at congresses, workshops and training programs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed medical training (e.g., in medical technology or as DGKP/DGKS) or an equivalent qualification obtained through relevant professional experience
- At least 2 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in the healthcare or medtech sector
- Proven success in acquiring and developing customers
- Excellent German and good English skills (spoken & written)
- Proficient in MS Office and ideally experienced with a CRM system
- Driver’s license (category B), residence in the region and willingness to travel approximately 80% within the specified area
