About the role
- supporting operations across EMEA
- help prevent and resolve compliance issues
- ensure smooth import and export processes
- collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners
- maintain oversight of import and export procedures in EMEA
- implement global trade compliance standards and procedures across the region
- provide training and guidance to teams in Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Procurement and Engineering
- drive projects focused on import/export efficiencies and cost savings
- assign HS code classifications and determine Country of Origin for products
- conduct customs audits and manage brokerage services
- review trade data for accuracy and approve international documentation
Requirements
- A degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, Legal or a related field
- Strong knowledge of EU trade laws, free trade agreements and regulatory requirements
- Experience managing customs brokers and working with regulatory authorities
- Familiarity with trade compliance platforms such as SAP GTS, Amber Road or similar
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams
- High attention to detail and strong ethical standards
