About the role
- As a Sales Specialist (m/f/x) for Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) you contribute to the implementation of vacuum-assisted closure (VAC) therapy
- Build and maintain existing customer relationships and acquire new customers
- Advise physicians and nursing staff on modern wound care solutions with a focus on NPWT
- Identify new opportunities to prevent wound healing complications
- Analyze the sales territory with regard to customer needs and local market changes
- Support NPWT initial installations by providing guidance and information
Requirements
- Medical training, e.g., operating room nurse, registered nurse, or a comparable degree — or a commercial qualification combined with relevant professional experience/continued training
- Proven and sustained sales success with medical products
- Basic medical knowledge or experience in clinical/functional departments or a leadership role in a medical care center (MVZ), home care, or medical practice
- Strong service and customer orientation, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a high drive to succeed
- Team player with organizational skills and enthusiasm
- Willingness to become familiar with health-economic aspects, e.g., EBM reimbursement
- Confident use of IT systems such as MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Very good German and good English skills (spoken & written)
- Driver’s license class B and regional travel willingness (approx. 80%)
- Advantageous: further training/certification in wound management (ICW)
- Experience in an international corporation
- Understanding of the structures and processes in hospitals, medical care centers (MVZ) and medical practices
