About the role

  • Partner with the Marketing creative team and paid team, as well as the project manager, to work together cohesively and collaboratively
  • Along with your manager, define the KPIs for your channels that align with success
  • Set an example across the team as a proactive, hands-on, and analytical Marketer
  • Stay on top of marketing trends for email, SMS, websites and content
  • Ensure everything you create represents SMB team’s brand and tone with professionalism and accuracy
  • Own the overarching strategy of email and SMS targeting - who, when, why, etc. with the goal of improving email engagement and effectiveness, without sacrificing the prospect/client experience or brand reputation
  • Manage the HubSpot lists, workflows, and sequences to put the strategy into action cleanly, partnering with Sales to ensure we take a ‘prospect/client-first’ approach
  • Track and improve email and SMS KPIs
  • Turn email into a clear value-add channel, increasing prospect engagement, meetings scheduled, new clients won, and client expansions
  • Report on and analyze email and SMS performance
  • Viewing our internal team as an agency, you own the SMB Team website for the company
  • Partner with the internal Website/SEO team to advance on our goals most efficiently and effectively
  • Determine the website KPIs and our baseline metrics to improve upon
  • From user experience to accuracy to content, SEO and AI strategy to lead generation, maximize the impact of the website to bring in organic leads as well as drive down our overall ad CAC
  • Report on and analyze website performance
  • Along with your team, determine the content strategy for the website, social media, email, the sales’ experience, and more
  • Co-create a content calendar and manage the execution of aspects of it alongside your team members
  • Leverage expertise across the company to create content that is value-add, educational and represents our brand well
  • Leverage AI to improve the speed and efficiency of content creation, while ensuring the substance and brand reflection quality is high

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in growth marketing, paid media, or demand generation, with a proven record of identifying and scaling high-performing marketing channels. Ideally with B2B experience. At least 7+ years of experience with Google PPC.
  • Proven ability to define, execute, and measure the effectiveness of multi-channel marketing campaigns such as campaigns across paid search, native, and emerging platforms.
  • Deep understanding of the full acquisition funnel, including lead generation, nurturing, and conversion optimization.
  • Highly analytical and data-driven, with the ability to interpret performance data, identify trends, and turn insights into actionable strategies using tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, and Hyros.
  • Strategic thinker with flawless execution, able to balance big-picture planning with detail-oriented implementation and continuous optimization.
  • Demonstrated success in managing marketing technology (MarTech) stacks and integrating tools for campaign execution, tracking, and reporting.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, with experience partnering effectively with Sales and creative teams to drive aligned results.
  • Proficiency in building and maintaining performance dashboards and reporting frameworks that drive visibility, accountability, and learning.
  • Hands-on and proactive, with a bias for action and a test-and-learn mindset that drives experimentation and innovation.
  • Team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude, committed to shared goals and to helping the broader marketing team succeed.
