About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead a regional delivery team through Smartsheet’s shift from effort-based implementation to AI-centered, value-driven advisory services
Interview, hire, and develop consultants with strategic, stakeholder-alignment, AI, and adoption-focused skills
Foster experimentation, AI solution testing, knowledge sharing, and adaptation to evolving delivery approaches
Partner with Sales and GTM leaders to drive regional services bookings, train partners, and support strategic account expansion
Engage customers, identify evolving needs, shape future service offerings, and handle customer escalations
Maintain a billable target for strategic project involvement
Own team fiscal health, performance targets/KPIs, and PSA tool data accuracy
Operationalize the transition to an AI-Native Professional Services model and modernize tools and methodologies
Translate company objectives and industry trends into actionable team priorities
Partner with the Resource Management Office to align consultant skills and capacity with project opportunities
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of experience in SaaS Professional Services, including navigating business pivots or disruptive technology shifts
2+ years leading high-performing individual-contributor teams, formally or as a project manager
Experience designing, selling, and delivering solutions in a SaaS Professional Services environment
Ability to formulate positions on industry trends and anticipate AI’s impact on customer needs
High emotional intelligence and change leadership
Excellent client management skills in pre- and post-sales environments
Proven ability to build influential relationships with sales and customer success partners
Proficiency with customer-organization insight frameworks and sophisticated problem-solving techniques
Experience applying change management, business process optimization, and AI strategies
Willingness to travel periodically, up to 40%
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of relevant work experience and education (minimum 7 years)
