About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Act as key focal point for client group on all HR matters - providing expert strategic and operational HR advice and guidance
  • Identify key business challenges across client groups and provide pragmatic HR solutions
  • Act as a sounding board to client group managers/leaders and provide professional advice and coaching
  • Promote best practice in people and talent management
  • Work within established Company policies and procedures and help business interpret and apply these appropriately
  • Drive change within client groups and embed new HR solutions
  • Ensure innovation and continuous improvement of HR systems, processes, and policies
  • Align and drive talent management strategies within client groups for attraction, recruitment, HiPo identification, development, recognition, and retention
  • Advise and coach managers/leaders with client groups and work with them to deal effectively with employee relations issues

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience of developing and embedding people-focused strategies to help deliver business objectives
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key business stakeholders
  • CIPD qualified or equivalent qualification
  • Extensive knowledge of Australian Employment law
  • Up-to-date knowledge of best practice HR trends and people management techniques
  • Talent management strategies
  • Project & change management initiatives
  • Understands relationship between HR initiatives and business drivers
