Public Relations Manager
SmartBuyGlasses Optical GroupSeeking a PR Manager to elevate SmartBuyGlasses' brand recognition and partnerships. Lead a team focusing on influencer collaborations and media outreach.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the commercial outcome of PR and Partnerships
- Lead a team of two: a PR and Copy Specialist and a Content Specialist
- Get the fundamentals right first
- Partner with merchandising on house-brand collections
- Run our Brand Ambassador programme
- Build a diversified earned media footprint
- Drive partnerships: sports RX, smart eyewear, community sports teams, etc.
- Make SmartBuyGlasses a name people encounter
- Work hand in hand with our Social and Influencer lead
- Set editorial direction for brand content
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years hands-on experience in PR, Brand, or Partnerships at a consumer, fashion, lifestyle, or e-commerce brand
- Alignment with our company’s 5 core values: Passionate, Entrepreneurial, Smart, Collaborative and Caring
- Growth mindset
- Track record of collabs, brand partnerships, or licensing wins
- Experience placing media coverage in fashion, lifestyle, or business publications
- Comfortable working with merchandising and product teams on branded collaborations and collections
- Strong commercial acumen
- Experience integrating PR with influencer and social to drive brand awareness
- Experience managing a small in-house team or wanting to step up to it
- Excellent written and verbal English communication
- Strong understanding of brand building, user behaviour, and funnel metrics
