About the role
- Interact with customers and provide/process information in response to inquiries and requests about products, services, and promotions via email
- Work with customers daily via email and handle retail customer service inquiries for English-speaking markets (style of glasses, sunglasses, prescription questions, order status, warranty issues)
- Introduce customers to higher-priced items, upgrades, or add-ons to increase sales
- Maintain high accuracy and quality of work; document interactions and manage time effectively
- Collaborate within a team, follow supervision, and support colleagues in a multicultural environment
Requirements
- Fluency in verbal and written English; additional language is an advantage
- Excellent time management and documentation skills
- Customer service experience preferred
- Amenable to working the graveyard shift, including weekends
- High-speed, stable internet connection
- Patient and stable work style; consistency with repetitive routines
- Cooperative, agreeable, sympathetic listener; team-oriented focus
- Attention to detail and accuracy; able to work under close supervision
