About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive vision and product strategy for PDF Tools Core SDK offering
- Conduct thorough qualitative, quantitative, and market research to identify opportunities for new features & integrations
- Drive the definition of the Objectives & Key Results of your team
- Translate product strategy into roadmaps, epics, and user stories
- Perform the role of the product owner in your team
- Collaborate with other PMs and teams within the document enablement domain
- Work within the broader Product Management guild to build and optimize PDF Tools & Smallpdf's overall product strategy, implement and scale product development best practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering and a minimum of two years working as an engineer
- 3+ years of hands-on product management experience, preferably in working on products for developers (SDK or similar)
- Experience building tools, infrastructure, or framework for developers
- Demonstrated ability to gather user requirements from many sources and build a compelling product vision
- Ability to manage stakeholders across multiple teams and drive parties with conflicting priorities to a decision
- Experience in leading product delivery from inception to launch and maintenance
- Excellent communicator with both teammates and stakeholders outside the team
- Fluent in English, German is a plus.
