About the role

  • As an ICT Support Engineer, you act as a competent point of contact for our customers
  • When required, you commission client, server and network systems on site
  • Take assigned days on the helpdesk
  • Responsible for receiving, qualifying and prioritizing incidents and support cases
  • Handle support cases largely independently
  • Opportunity to gradually assume operational responsibility for individual SLYNET services
  • Technical contact person for the service, including maintenance and further development

Requirements

  • ICT specialist with EFZ (Swiss Federal VET certificate) with at least 1 year of professional experience, or equivalent career changers
  • Broad-based IT knowledge in the Microsoft systems and cloud environment
  • Independent problem-solving through an analytical and structured working approach
  • High willingness to learn and quick comprehension
  • Knowledge in Windows Server and client systems, Remote Desktop environments, Active Directory, virtualization solutions and IP networks
  • Enjoy working in direct contact with customers
  • On-call availability
  • Strong written and spoken German and ability to communicate in English
  • French language skills are an advantage
  • Team-oriented working style with a strong sense of responsibility and reliability
