About the role

  • Join the European Geotechnical Team and contribute to large infrastructure projects

Requirements

  • Degree in civil engineering or geology
  • Experience in Geotechnical Design Projects for large infrastructure projects
  • Extensive experience in the UK highways sector, including National Highways Geotechnical Certification projects
  • Strong academic background with a relevant degree (ideally MSc or equivalent)
  • Ideally chartered (CEng or CGeol) or able to demonstrate an equivalent level of competence
  • Proven experience of acting in a senior role in a fast-moving engineering consultancy environment
  • Project management experience and understanding of the needs and approaches to the engineering consultancy and design markets
  • Proven geotechnical design experience
  • Competent in use of leading geotechnical design software (GEO5, Oasys suite, GeoStudio, Plaxis, etc.)
  • Application of CDM Regulations in a design and ground investigation environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good commercial track record in negotiating and running successful jobs
  • Excellent report writing skills with the ability to self-check and produce accurate work
