- Provide technical advisory support for local authority and private sector clients
- Manage projects to ensure client and business objectives are achieved
- Contribute to development of high quality, successful bid submissions
- Identify and react to opportunities using both reactive and proactive approaches
- Keep abreast of latest developments across the UK waste sector
Requirements
- Extensive experience in resources and waste management sector
- Proven experience supporting procurement projects for public sector clients
- Excellent track record in leading negotiations/dialogue with bidders and evaluating tenders
- Degree qualified in environmental sciences/engineering or equivalent (ideally to postgraduate level)
- Chartered membership of a relevant professional body, or aspiration to work towards membership
- Full driving license
