Key responsibilities & impact

Build Sleeper's lifecycle program from the ground up in Braze, including onboarding, activation, retention, and reactivation journeys across push, email, and in-app
Own email deliverability end to end, including domain warm-up, list hygiene, engagement-based sending, and inbox recovery
Define behavioral audiences and partner with data and engineering to instrument required events and attributes
Run holdout, incrementality, and A/B tests and measure incremental lift
Drive lifecycle campaigns for season kickoffs, competitions, and product launches in partnership with product managers, design, and marketing
Establish operating standards for naming conventions, QA, frequency capping, and campaign prioritization

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of experience in lifecycle, CRM, or growth marketing with meaningful ownership of a consumer program
Deep hands-on Braze experience, or comparable experience with Iterable, Airship, or Customer.io
Experience building multi-step, branching customer journeys
Strong understanding of email deliverability, sender reputation, authentication, and engagement-based sending
Analytical rigor and experience designing holdouts and measuring incremental lift
Ability to take strategy through execution in a zero-to-one environment
Strong copywriting skills for push notifications and email
Ability to collaborate with product and engineering and scope instrumentation requirements
Experience with in-app messaging and push communications is a bonus
Experience or genuine interest in sports, fantasy, DFS, gaming, or regulated consumer products is a bonus
Familiarity with responsible-gaming or compliance-aware messaging is a bonus
SQL and data warehouse experience are a bonus
Must provide a US city and state and be legally authorized to work in the US
