About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Update replenishment templates and assist with basic inventory analysis.
Monitor sales and stock reports to identify low stock items and assist with order creation and transfers.
Communicate with vendors regarding delivery timelines, backorders, and product availability.
Gathering and analysis of data, identifying trends or points of importance to the department or business.
Analyze a variety of reports to proactively plan for growth and spikes in demand.
Communicate relevant updates to Sales, Distribution, and Customer Service teams including issues affecting inventory or customer orders.
Coordinating and supporting reverse product flow/empty container pick-up throughout the company to ensure proper execution of the RTV (returns) process.

Requirements

What you’ll need

1-2 years experience working in purchasing or supply chain operations in a retail/wholesale environment
Post-secondary education in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Operations (or equivalent)
Previous experience in supply chain forecasting and replenishment with either Oracle, Logility, SAP and JDA Manugistics is an asset
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with exceptional attention to detail
Exceptional problem solving skills
Effective communication skills (oral and written) with internal and external stakeholders
