About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Update replenishment templates and assist with basic inventory analysis.
- Monitor sales and stock reports to identify low stock items and assist with order creation and transfers.
- Communicate with vendors regarding delivery timelines, backorders, and product availability.
- Gathering and analysis of data, identifying trends or points of importance to the department or business.
- Analyze a variety of reports to proactively plan for growth and spikes in demand.
- Communicate relevant updates to Sales, Distribution, and Customer Service teams including issues affecting inventory or customer orders.
- Coordinating and supporting reverse product flow/empty container pick-up throughout the company to ensure proper execution of the RTV (returns) process.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1-2 years experience working in purchasing or supply chain operations in a retail/wholesale environment
- Post-secondary education in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Operations (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in supply chain forecasting and replenishment with either Oracle, Logility, SAP and JDA Manugistics is an asset
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Exceptional problem solving skills
- Effective communication skills (oral and written) with internal and external stakeholders
