About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute territory sales strategies to achieve volume and gross margin targets
  • Analyse sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and execute account plans
  • Build strong relationships with retail and on-premise customers, providing product, promotion, and sales recommendations
  • Conduct regular business reviews to assess performance and adjust programs or targets
  • Coordinate and execute key account and marketing programs, providing feedback on effectiveness
  • Maintain merchandising standards and influence space allocation and product visibility
  • Manage expenses within budget and implement continuous improvement (MUDA reduction)
  • Maintain accurate customer and sales data in CRM systems and collaborate with internal partners
  • Participate in industry events and stay current on competitor activity and consumer trends
  • Spend a minimum of four days per week in the field within the assigned territory

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience in a consumer-packaged goods environment
  • Post-secondary education in a related field
  • Proven ability to execute sales plans, achieve targets, and drive revenue growth
  • Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external partners
  • Effective written and verbal communication with strong presentation skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including CRM 365, Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Beverage alcohol industry experience is an asset
  • Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
  • Ability to demonstrate behaviours aligned with organisational values
  • Responsible beverage service certification (as required by province)
