About the role
- Lead the UK accounting team, driving process transformation, compliance, and profitability.
- Ensure team competency and client satisfaction through timely, accurate, high-quality deliverables.
- Provide structured training and leadership to the accounting team and keep them updated on accounting standards and regulatory requirements across services.
- Drive process improvements to enable scale and improve gross profitability for Sleek UK.
- Ensure timely filing of corporate returns and taxes per SLAs and maintain compliance with workflows.
- Demonstrate expertise in UK accounting regulations and company setups (private limited companies).
- Maintain team efficiency through timely hiring, training, and corrective actions for staff issues.
- Collaborate with senior leaders including Country Head - UK and participate in cross-functional initiatives.
Requirements
- Substantial senior leadership experience within a UK accounting practice.
- Professionally qualified — ideally ACCA, ICAEW, or ICAS.
- Strong understanding of UK accounting and tax regulations.
- Demonstrated expertise in UK company setups, particularly private limited companies.
- Ability to provide structured training and leadership to accounting teams.
- Experience driving process improvements and improving gross profitability.
- Ability to ensure timely filing of corporate returns and taxes per SLAs.
- Hiring, team efficiency management, and corrective actions for staff issues.
