Backend Engineer

• Provide solutions to technical challenges and project needs
• Contribute to performance profiling, troubleshooting and production issue resolution
• Take part in planning by helping the project management team define implementation approaches and providing time and effort estimates for planned tasks
• Provide consultancy on how processes, tools and platforms can be improved and which new technologies could be adopted
• Integrate user-facing elements with data coming from the server side
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Ensure application security by following secure coding practices, protecting sensitive data, and addressing common web vulnerabilities
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
• Support less-experienced engineers through pair programming, knowledge sharing and technical guidance
• Implement automations for repetitive or complex administrative tasks
• Deliver results according to agreed time-plans
• Test deliverables
