About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Monitor and interpret the national and international macroeconomic environment, assessing its impacts on the company's business and operating markets.
  • Participate in Big Data and Artificial Intelligence initiatives, transforming data into actionable insights to anticipate market movements.
  • Develop and refine predictive models, strategic indicators, and executive dashboards, ensuring high reliability, scalability, and continuous value delivery to business areas.
  • Understand and interpret econometric, statistical, and predictive models applied to market intelligence and the forecasting of business-relevant economic variables.
  • Proactively monitor the competitive, regulatory, macroeconomic, and sectoral environment, integrating multiple data sources to build advanced analyses, forward-looking scenarios, and strategic recommendations.
  • Develop economic scenarios and projections for variables such as economic growth, inflation, interest rates, exchange rates, commodities, international trade, and economic policy, supporting the company's strategic planning.
  • Actively participate in strategic forums and meetings, anticipating risks and opportunities, proposing data-driven solutions, and directly contributing to the achievement of corporate objectives.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics or a related field;
  • Postgraduate degree (e.g., Master's) in Economics, Macroeconomics, Statistics, or related disciplines;
  • Experience in macroeconomic analysis, statistical analysis, geopolitics, and market analysis;
  • Advanced English;
  • Experience with Power BI and generative Artificial Intelligence preferred;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
